We formed Onecom in Wilmington, NC, in 2007 as a property investment company focusing on single and multi-family homes by our father and son team, Mike and Jonathan. What we quickly realized, is that it was difficult to find a property management company that fit our needs.
Mike was close to retirement from his day-job as a grocer, and we decided that it made sense for him to manage properties the way that we wanted to see them managed. Our property leasing and management business was born out of our experience as owner end-users and we hope that the solution we have created can be extended to you and enhance your experience your experience as an owner.
The name Onecom was created by Mike’s father, Johnnie, in 1972. Johnnie’s first commercial property was ‘One Commercial Road’ in Durban, South Africa, and we felt it right to continue give the name longevity when forming Onecom in the US.
